The cheese tastes fresh, slightly salty and acidic.

SOL white cheese in slices can be prepared in numerous ways. In Greek cooking, it is mostly used for “Saganaki” breaded cheeses, baked in the oven and grilled.

White SOL cheese with its characteristic hollow structure originated at Kirkeby Dairy. Under expert Greek guidance, the first SOL feta cheese was produced in 1968.
