The cheese tastes fresh, slightly salty and acidic.

SOL white cheese can be prepared in numerous ways. It retains its firmness when cooked and can be prepared as “Saganaki” breaded cheese, baked in the oven and grilled. SOL white cheese is indispensable in a Greek salad and is particularly suited to quiches, on pizzas, as a bread filling and as part of a buffet.

White SOL cheese with its characteristic hollow structure originated at Kirkeby Dairy. Under expert Greek guidance, the first SOL feta cheese was produced in 1968.
